The Nike LDWaffle from the collaboration with Sacai designer Chitose Abe is one of the most successful releases in recent years. In addition to the Collab with Fragment on the LDWaffle, another colorway is to be created in cooperation with the Japanese label Clot in 2021. So far, the Sacai designer Chitose Abe has already enriched us with some colorways on her LDWaffle. Two versions were created, one with mesh inserts and one with the LDWaffle nylon. In cooperation with Clot, a colorway with completely new materials is to be created, which shows clear parallels to the Clot x Nike Air Max 1 Kiss of Death.
The LDWaffle is also largely made of transparent materials. Instead of the completely transparent material, however, the modern Nexkin was used, which has a reduced transparency. However, the material is breathable and still allows a view of the inside of the shot.
The color of the LDWaffle is also clearly based on the legendary Collab. The leather inserts and the Nexkin are beige, whereupon the tongue and the Swoosh are set off in striking orange and red tones. Only the second Swoosh with a pink background is different in color and represents another tone in the color palette.
