The rumors were already in 2020. A new colorway of the AQ0818-149 Air Jordan 1 “Off-White” would be released. The shoe was previously only released in white, in a Chicago colorway and in a UNC colorway.It’s clear that the sneaker community is eagerly awaiting a new colorway of the iconic shoe. In 2020, the yellow variant was already shown at an exhibition by Virgil Abloh, founder of Off-White.
At the time it still seemed that it was only a “sample”. In short: a shoe that is sometimes produced in an edition of only one or two pairs to see what the shoe looks like in real life. It was a disappointment to many fans that the shoe would not get a worldwide release. Until it was announced this week that a new collection between Nike and Off-White is coming out. “The 20” collection consists of Air Force 1s, Dunks and thus an Air Jordan 1 UK.
