We already described the first six sneakers from the Air Jordan summer collection of 2021 in part 1, now it’s time for part 2. Here, the other six Air Jordan sneakers are described and provided with the official photos. Just because Jordan calls this the “summer collection” doesn’t mean one of these sneakers can’t drop in the spring.
Jordan has announced a total of 12 new colorways, the first six of which we discussed in the first part and the last six are discussed in this article. A third of the announcement consist of Air Jordan 1s. We do not expect it to stop there and that we can expect even more colorways. We are looking forward to the Travis Scott x Fragment collaboration, where an Air Jordan 1 High OG should come out.
Air Jordan 6 Electric Green
The Air Jordan 6 Electric Green comes in the full family line-up. In short, this summer the whole family can walk with fluorescent (Glow in the Dark) outsoles. The black colorway with green (Electric Green) accents reminds us of the Air Jordan 6 – Oregon Ducks. The only difference is the fact that it doesn’t have the Oregon Ducks logo on it.
Air Jordan 7 Flint
The Air Jordan 7 Flint is making a comeback this year. The last time this colorway was released was in 2006. This cool colorway has been around for 15 years this year and maybe that was the reason they are going to release it again. The release of this sneaker is not long in coming, because that will already be on May 8th. This sneaker also comes in all family sizes.
WMNS Air Jordan 11 Low Bright Citrus
The Air Jordan 11 Low returns. The last time this happened was in 2015. Then this colorway only dropped in GS sizing, but now it’s the turn of women’s sizes. This sneaker is a WMNS exclusive, which means that they do not come in the largest sizes. Usually this runs to about size 44 (US10). This model is equipped with an “OG carbon fiber plate”. This is an extra part in the sole, this is the first time this is applied to a WMNS version.
Air Jordan 11 Low Legend Blue
The Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue was released In 2014.That was the high version of the sneaker that will be released in a few weeks. A super clean colorway which is an ode to the 25th anniversary of the Air jordan 11. The number “25” can be found on the insole of this sneaker.
Air Jordan 12 Retro Low Easter
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Low Easter is one example that this is not about the summer collection, but could just as well have been called “Spring Collection”. This sneaker will be released on April 3, 2021.
Air Jordan 13 Retro Gym Red (Red Flint)
The latest sneaker is the 2021 Air Jordan 13 Gym Red. A sneaker that will drop in early May. In the same month, a blue variant with the color “Flint” is also dropped. This color is reflected in the mudguard of these Gym Reds, which is why it is also called the Red Flint.
