Crazy pictures of a new Nike Air Force 1 have surfaced. The design is an absolute “overstatement”. And rightly so, because the Air Force 1/1 Mighty Swooshers pays homage to anime and comics. All information about the shoes can be found here, as always.
What at first looks like a rather elaborate custom design will probably hit the shelves very soon. The joke is that it’s almost a custom, but straight from Nike. The colorful comic pictures can be put on the shoe with a Velcro fastener. So if there are 1-2 motifs too much for you, you could theoretically leave them out. So the shoe comes in a Velcro overlay. The laces and the tongue are slightly different from the rest in anthracite-colored leather. The laces themselves come in light pastel blue, at least that’s what it looks like in the previous pictures. By the way, one of the Swooshes alludes to The Thing from Fantastic Four. We prefer to leave all other allusions to the comic professionals.
Daring release, we think. However, we are not the biggest anime / comic fans either and we are sure that some will be very happy about the model.
